Plasma Therapy - What is it?

It’s a non surgical form of lifting and removal of excess skin and skin lesions.Plasma is the fourth state of matter (solid, liquid, gas, and plasma). The plasma generated by PLEXR produces heat which will sublimate the skin and remove unwanted skin.In order to achieve this, the handpiece will create lesions (carbon crust/dots) in the skin, immediately shrinking it and leaving temporary scabs/carbon crusts which should have fallen off in 5 days. After scabs have fallen off the new tight skin is visible.

The effects of plasma are:

Side Effects/ Downtime?

Swelling and discomfort for the first 48 hours is expected, it’s recommended that you shouldn’t attend social events.With any procedure/treatment there is always a risk for infection. This risk is reduced by a number of interventions in the clinic and also recommendations on the aftercare that should always be followed.

Post care

The crusts formed must not be scratched, rubbed or removed. This also shouldn’t be touched for 5-7 days afterward except being lightly cleansed with an antiseptic solution.Cover the treated area with high SPF to protect from the UVA and UVB rays until the healing process is over. Once scabs have fallen off, you’d need to hydrate the treated area (during the appointment you’d instructed the best suited to your skin).

How many sessions?
